About UluOla and Me

“Ulu Ola” — Hawaiian for “Inspire Life” (ou-loo oh’-lah) from:

Ulu = inspired by a spirit, god, ideal or person, as for artistic creation; stirred, excited; to enter in and inspire; grow, increase.

Ola = life, health, well-being, living, livelihood, salvation; alive; curable, healed, recovered; to live, heal, thrive.

Aloha and Welcome to my blog. I am a (now mostly retired) Holistic Health Facilitator certified in Reconnective Healing® and The Reconnection®—Levels I, II and III, and a Huna Healing practitioner with a certificate in Hawaiian Haumana Shamanic Practice; member Aloha International, The Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) and the Global CE-5 ET Contact Network. I’m a graduate of the Silva Method and Silva Ultra Healing Courses and Way of The Shaman and Jungle Medicine Workshops.

In addition to a little energy work, I still do some nutrition and herbal consultations, specializing in rainforest herbs, amino acid therapy and Diabetes information. I do life-path coaching and preparation and support for those interested in having a soul retrieval or other, shamanic healing session. And as an Ordained Minister, I’m available for weddings, funerals and spiritual and hospice counseling. I do my work in person or offer “distance assistance” via e-mail and telephone.

I’m also a freelance writer, blogger and phenologist, and was a 10-year newspaper columnist, rock collector and organic gardener for over 40 years until moving to an urban apartment on 12-13-14. (How’s that for an auspicious date?!) I continue my life-long passion for exploring science (especially physics, astronomy, archeology, Diabetes and brain research) and the metaphysical, and I delight in finding the intersections where science and spirit connect.

While my computer is plugged into a wall in southeast Wisconsin, with (or without) the Internet, blogging and Facebook, I AM everywhere and Nowhere!

  3. Whoops…
My good friend studied with Four Winds and then lives in jungles of Peru for 7 months and was allowed into training with the Q’rou masters who trained her in their form of shamanism. She does a lot of despachos. Love it all.

  4. Michelle just read your bio..
Impressed with your extensive efforts to learn and use holistic and energetic treatment to help others. I am certified in Healing Touch and use a lot of Barbara Brennan’s techniques as well as a bit of Matrix Energetics.

Have a good friend going to Reconnection on Boston. Have another good friend who studied Shamanism with Four Winds.

    • Thank you, Nell, for your kind words and comments. Looks like we have a lot in common! I know your friend is going to love the Reconnection work–it’s life changing.
